Dr. Rob Neposlan is an experienced and caring chiropractor in practice since 1996. As a believer in continuous improvement and innovation, Dr. Rob considers himself a “seminar junkie” and has continually updated his studies through post graduate seminars and programs. It is through this type of passion that he has developed a unique program of foot care.
At Orthotics Now, advanced digital technology allows for scanning of patients’ feet and detecting of foot abnormalities that may lead to dysfunction. The advantage of utilizing this type of technology is that many foot abnormalities do not show up until the foot is in motion. Unlike other casting methods which place the foot in a “neutral” posting or position, observing the foot as it moves will detect abnormalities which are not present until a person moves through their gait cycle. This may reveal biomechanical faults that would not be addressed through previous methods. Based on this scan, Dr Rob can recommend a solution that is 100% custom to your needs. In some cases, a custom orthotic may be crafted in house and in some cases your scan will be electronically sent (emailed) to our manufacturer who will receive your scan results in minutes and begin the custom manufacturing of an orthotic. In either case, a custom orthotic will be crafted in the most timely way possible; helping you get back to enjoying the things you do without the nagging effects of foot, knee, hip or back pain.
Dr Rob has previously studied with Glenn Cumberland, founder of Fastech Labs Custom Orthotics (www.fastechlabs.net). The Fastech products are used in hundreds of hospitals and clinics, as well as, over 50 top NCAA college athletic programs and in every major professional sport including our very own Detroit Lions and Tigers. Olympic training centers and 20 of the top 50 ATP Tour (Tennis) players also utilize Fastech orthotics. Today, this same custom process is available at Orthotics Now in Amherstburg.
As indicated earlier, part of your evaluation will encompass the use of The Orthotic Groups Gait Scan (www.theorthoticgroup.com) technology. This is one of the most advanced analysis methods available in the industry today. Utilizing this approach ensures the best custom fit possible and this minimizes the break in period where discomfort may be present. This also ensures that regardless which method is used in fabricating your orthotic you will be getting the best solution possible for your particular need.
